I am very proud that Status International (UK) Limited is still a family run business and we are all delighted to celebrate our 25th anniversary this year.

Our dedication to quality is further enforced by our long standing partnership with the Trading Standards Institute having been the ‘Main Sponsor’ for 21 years of their Annual Conference.
This reinforces our commitment to delivering quality and safety and raises awareness of maintaining high standards across our industry.
I strongly support the policy that business and professional bodies can work together for mutual benefit. To emphasise this policy Status is a very active member of the Lighting Industry Association (LIA), represented on the LIA Technical Committee and LIA Council of Management, assisting in setting standards.
Status is a Corporate Member of the Chartered Trading Standards Institute and proud of this fact.
In 2014, our efforts were recognised when Status became one of the elite group of British Companies that featured on the fastest growing profit stars list compiled by the Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100. Looking forward, we are focused on continuing this growth and investing in our people and research and development. In 2011, we introduced an in-house design studio. This has opened up new avenues for us so that we can now do our own reprographic work, take completely new design concepts through to final design stage and work on much larger scale projects than has been previously possible.
We are now arguably the largest independent light bulb and electrical accessory supplier in the UK and continue our journey to provide the highest quality to our customers, who are the most important people of all.
